Once it has been achieved that guppy fry fish are born we must be very careful so that they survive and can be part of the community without problems. Although they are a very colorful and easy to breed species, they need some requirements and care to survive, especially until they can be completely safe from being devoured.
If you like to raise guppy fish, you have to take into account the conditions and measures of the aquarium so as not to overpopulate it, since each female can have between 10 and 15 offspring. The plants should not be missing because they will serve as a refuge for the fry, or even put a breeding box to keep them safe, we must remember that guppy parents tend to eat the young, since they are not a species that protects them.
The Aquarium temperature has to be around 24ºC and the water always has to be completely clean and purified for its good development. Its feeding is important for its good development, for this it is advisable to give it what guppies usually eat, if they are flakes it is necessary to crush it to improve their intake and always four or five times a day.
You have to have the fry fish, either in a separate aquarium or in the main aquarium, and even then, we must ensure that the treatment plant is not at much power because they can be absorbed due to their tiny size.
You have to watch the fry because some may not grow along with the rest or be prey to a disease that could spread to the group. Never give medication because we cannot determine the appropriate dose, it is best to get the offspring that is sick.
If the fry are raised in the right conditions, they are very easy even for beginners, in a few weeks they will be part of the group of the elderly. A male guppy is sexually active a month and a half.
